5.0 out of 5 stars Smoking hott!
What a titillating tale this turned out to be. Wow Cathryn sure knows how to turn up the heat. Seriously, I needed a fireman of my own after this one. I love reading about strong women who know how to get what they want and this one was perfect!

Warning: Hot sex in creative places, may leave reader salivating for more...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's like reading the script to a porno movie
I won't give a book description since that has been done. I haven't read anything else by this author so i figured with the kindle price, why not try it. I like erotica with a descent story line. This story line, if you want to even call it that, could have been better. Don't get me wrong, there was potential there and I didn't want it to end because I was hoping for...

I won't give a book description since that has been done. I haven't read anything else by this author so i figured with the kindle price, why not try it. I like erotica with a descent story line. This story line, if you want to even call it that, could have been better. Don't get me wrong, there was potential there and I didn't want it to end because I was hoping for the potential to break through, but I just think there could have been much more. The one thing that really bothered me were the stupid cliches in the book - it was almost border line of a porno flick (bad dialogue) and how they actually hook up - she asks him to do something for her which again makes you think you are reading a really bad porno flick! The sex scenes were steamy, which makes up for the dialogue between the two characters. I'm glad I only paid (...) for the kindle book.

5.0 out of 5 stars One on One, November 23, 2009

For Taylor Dayton, it's heaven and hell having drop-dead-gorgeous Christian Bain as a best friend and neighbor. It may be wonderful having all those ice cream and movie nights with Christian, but Taylor can't help but want more. Finally, Taylor decides enough is enough and comes up with a plan to seduce the playboy firefighter of her dreams.

Christian is doing everything he can not to ruin his friendship with Taylor by adding sex into the mix. But when Taylor shows up on his doorstep needing erotic advice on how to pick up a man, Christian's good intentions go out the window. When Christian discovers it's him Taylor wants to seduce, the sexy fireman decides it's time to turn the tables. Taylor's little game is about to get a whole lot hotter.

Better put in a call to your local fire station, because One on One is hot enough to burn! Cathryn Fox has delivered a sizzling, scintillating romance that made me smile and wish I had a sexy, single fireman living next door. I love a story where the protagonists are best friends who have been secretly in love with one another but each is unaware of the other's desire. It's so much fun to watch the barriers crumble, and I enjoyed watching that happen for Taylor and Christian. The only drawback to One on One is that the firemen puns were slightly overdone and there were a few points where the prose was a bit purple for my taste. Yet, all in all, I found One on One to be a red-hot delight.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing spectacular, June 19, 2011

This book was ok even though it was short. The sex scenes were hot, but I found it a little unrealistic. I tend to like romance novels that seem pretty realistic, but I just didn't find this one to be that. The whole asking her best friend to shave her pubic area and the anal sex scene in front of someone outside just didn't seem real to me. Others may like it though.

Yup. if you like smut with no plot, no character development, bad dialog ... then yup, this one's for you. I didn't think the romance was that hot, either...
