Handsome yet practical, this 18/8 stainless-steel flatware is corrosion resistant, retains its luster without polishing, and is dishwasher-safe. This 45-piece set provides full service for 8 diners. Each 5-piece setting consists of a dinner fork, a salad fork, a soup spoon, a teaspoon, and a knife. The left-most tine on the salad fork is wider to provide extra leverage when cutting food that normally does not require a knife, such as lettuce, soft vegetables, or pie. It also includes the following serving set: a serving spoon, a pierced serving spoon, a serving fork, a sugar spoon, and a butter knife. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

I love this set. It's made of excellent quality stainless steel and includes a serving set! Very high quality stuff. Oneida definately makes good products. The flatware looks nice also.

This flatware is attractive and holds up well to everyday use. It is solid and of very good quality. This is a good value. I'm a repeat purchaser - have had this flatware for well ov er5 years.

Amazon Verified Purchase
I've had these for over 5 years now and aside from my own mistakes (bending the spoons in hard ice cream; losing pieces) I haven't had any problems with them. I don't understand what the 18/0 rating means or why other people find it substandard, but I can tell you this: I'm buying another set to replace all the ones we've lost or accidentally thrown away because all the remaining pieces still look perfect after 5 years. If people need anything better than these, I can't understand why. No stains, no rust, no discoloration, no significant scratches, no gouges, no dulling of the finish, nothing. What else could people be looking for?
One side note: I've seen a different cheaper version of this same style at Wal-Mart, but the pieces there are thinner and not as substantial as these. The set pictured here is the nicer, beefier version.
