These have very definitely "hit the mark." Heavy duty plastic, with tight-fitting tops and a ring of non-slip material around the bottom. They definitely don't slide around on the counter while stirring or whipping. My only "complaint" is that the large bowl isn't just a little bigger. However, for our family of four, this is, day to day, only a theoretical complaint. I have no problem mixing enough waffle or pancake batter for an entire meal, usually with a waffle or a few pancakes to save. The pour spout is great; it's easy to pour out just enough batter for my waffle iron or onto the griddle without messy spoons or ladles dripping onto the counter and stove. A great addition to the kitchen.

These bowls are great! They are dishwasher & microwave safe and I love how they don't slip all over the counter when your mixing something thick. I always use them to make dough that needs to be chilled, because its so easy to just put the top on and pop it in the fridge. The only thing I don't like about them is that the measurements are hard to see.
