I purchased my first set of American Harmony in 1999 (I think it was called Arbor at that time). We are a family of 4 who uses it daily which includes at least one run of the dishwasher a day. My flatware still looks and feels beautiful! I've been so happy with it that I decided to add to my original collection and use it for more formal gatherings in the dining room.

My sister owns a set of this flatware and liked it so much that she bought a set in July 1996 for my birthday. In Dec 1999 we bought a set for my Mom as a Christmas gift. In Feb 2000 we all went together to buy my sister-in-law a set for her birthday. Obviously, we think this flatware is awesome! The design is classic, not too frilly and the quality of the flatware can be felt in the balance and weight of each piece. All of us use our silverware as our everyday-ware, run them through the dishwasher and none of us have a piece that doesn't look as good as the day we received it. Oneida has a 25-year warranty on this flatware and I really believe mine will last that long --- unless someone in my family steals-the-silver to add to their own set!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised on Christmas morning when we received the American Harmony flatware. Recently, my son kept saying "Hey Mom, when are you going to get new flatware?" and I would ignore him because my Farberware Crystal flatware was still good enough for everyday. Unbeknownst to me, when he stirred his tea, the silver (some type of paper used) wrapping between the handle of the spoon and the spoon was peeling. Thus, the flatware for Christmas! I can't say enough about it; it looks good; it feels good, it works good and this is coming from a girl who grew up using Sterling Silver and Silverplate on a regular basis, which I do have for my own dining room. The pattern and lustre is gorgeous. My hats off to Oneida, Amazon.com and most of all, to our son.

The product exceeded my expectations. The fabulous shine of the stainless steel flatware could be compared to actual silverware. I chose the Oneida set because I liked the American Harmony design -- I never expected that the quality of the product would be my ultimate satisfaction. It is obvious the workmanship put into this product will result in many years of usage. I purchased the 53 piece set and received the 20 piece set as a bonus. I also took advantage of the free shipping -- What a bargain! What a steal!

I HAVE HAD A SET OF THE ONEIDA, AMERICAN HARMONY FLATWARE FOR 15YRS. I FIND IT TO BE BOTH CASUAL AND FORMAL. I LOVE IT.

I bought 12 place settings of this pattern and I am very satisfied with it. I thought it would be a little heavier, but overall I really enjoy it. It is well balanced, if you put the utensils on a plate as you serve it, it does not flip off. I have been using it as a replacement another Oneida pattern that I could not obtain replacements for at a reasonable price. I like it as well as the last pattern. Oneida, on the whole turns out quality products. I am confident that it will look good as new for years to come.

From the pictures you would assume this flatware has thick, heavy, solid stainless steel handles. In fact, only the knife does; on the rest of the pieces the handles are very flat, thin & hollowed out, giving them a lightweight and unbalanced feel in the hand. Still an attractive pattern & good deal with the bonus offer, I just would have preferred to see a side view of the pieces before buying & being disappointed. I gave this set away & went back to using my old flatware simply because it has a more substantial feel - "American Harmony" left me totally unimpressed.

Product came quickly ,in excellent condition. Very attractive. I use every day but also elegant enough for special occasions. The pieces are heavier than they look. Give a feeling of quality and substance. I am extremely pleased.

I already had some flatware in this pattern and I wanted to add to it. I was thrilled to get such a great deal from Amazon. Onidea is great quality and the pattern is prefect for everyday and formal settings.

So I went ahead and bought another 8 serving set and they rock!
