I was a bit worried about the quality of the pieces because of the reviews, but once they arrived and I unpacked them I was more then thrilled with the quality, style, and feel of the pieces.
The soup spoons and dinner forks are nice and big at a solid 8" long. The dinner knives are much larger then I expected at 9 1/2" long, but I am glad they are (I'm a big guy, I like big things). The one thing I was worried about was them being flimsy and thin, but they are far from it. All of the pieces have heft to them and are fairly thick, but not too thick, just the perfect balance. And they all have great mouth feel and handle very well. The design is nice and simple but elegant enough to look formal. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this service set and would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a clean and simple service set for everyday use. Pros: 25 year warranty! Dishwasher safe. Sturdy construction and not at all flimsy. Elegant and simple design, feels good in your hand and mouth. Price. Will no longer run out of flatware because of the number of pieces. Perfect for everyday use. Cons: None!

An Excellent set for the money. 85 piece setting for $59.00 was a great price and couldn't go wrong. It fits well with my plates. Very durable and strong. This is not a cheap set by any means.

We are very happy with our new set of Oneida silverware. Good things: it is heavy gauge stainless steal. You can scoup ice cream with it,the finish is very shinny,the pattern is good for casual and fancy meals. The price was a big factor, less than $60.00 for a place setting for 16 people! Wow and my favorite thing FREE SHIPPING can you believe it! This would have cost a lot to ship otherwise. Only draw back is it's large, don't get it if you like small utensils.
