After intensely shopping in stores and online, I came across the Oneida Moda 65-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 12 on Amazaon. After viewing the online pictures, I took a chance and ordered the flatware set. What I wanted in new flatware was the following: (1) 18/10 Stainless Steel; (2) high shine; (3) pattern that can go from formal to casual dining; (4) heavy duty flatware; (5) classic design; (6) Oneida's reputation. Oneida Moda flatware met all of my six specifications. You will not be disappointed with this flatware set. Read the Oneida care instructions once you open the package. I first washed a few pieces in the dishwasher and the flatware spotted (like the care instructions stated they would). I then immediately washed those same pieces by hand and the spots disappeared. Highly recommend to wash good flatware by hand. You'll be more pleased with the results. With a little extra care, you can have affordable, beautiful, sturdy flatware that can be handed down to future generations.

We have had this set nearly a year now and our very pleased. We wash by dishwasher and have not had any problem with rust or spotting.
The one fault is also the major advantage.....they are heavy. If they are on a plate and you move it off the table too quickly they drop onto the floor. That is a pain but we like the weight and the look of the whole set.

I originally purchased this pattern from a B&M houseware retailer and I have been very pleased with it. It is just the right weight to make it comfortable and the edges are all rounded so that there aren't any uncomfortable positions when using them. I have used them for about three weeks now and they take the abuse of the scrubby side of sponges and dishwasher washings well. I have not seen any deterioration in appearance.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have been looking to expand the set and have not seen any additional pieces (i.e. additional server's pieces and individual pieces, like the butter spreader, for sale). Aside fro that, i would definitely recommend this set that is reasonably priced, looks great, wears well, and even includes a storage tray.

I was looking a heavy flatware set that would stand up to every day usage, still look nice and not spend a fortune for it either. This set is exactly all that. You can't go wrong if you purchase it.

We just ordered this from Amazon. The flatware is lovely. Each piece has a good weight to it; not too heavy or flimsly.

The quality of the flatware is excellent for 18/0. The pieces are solid (not hollow) and they're smooth and polished on every edge. The underside of the forks and spoons look as good as the topside.

This set is very nice to look at and it is a nice weight in hand. Great product at an unbelievable price!

Really nice, heavy excellent every day dinner ware. Very please with the whole experience. works well for the entire family - no one thinks that the flatware is too heavy or has issues holding even the largest pieces.

The wife an I looked at several sets silverware but decided on these because of some of the negativity in the reviews . This silverware came exactly as described Heavy an plenty to grip onto. Not weak an flimsy as some of the other stuff you look at in making a decision . Cleans up well handles nicely an is packaged just as described. This silverware set has some weight to it. It's nice to feel a good weighted fork. The style is simple and beautiful. You won't be disappointed.
