5.0 out of 5 stars The Little Pot that Performs
I bought this little pot mainly because the knob on the lid is screwed into a glass insert. (No more broken off knobs!) I love this coffee pot, it fits my space and lifestyle perfectly, and is easy to fill and easy to clean. My one suggestion is to use a paper filter in the basket. Otherwise, there will be sludge in the bottom of the pot.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice ... but it's malfunctioning
This is probably the nicest percolator I've had ... perfect size for us and it appears well made.

I loved it ... until it started malfunctioning. Often ... but not always ... after about 2 hours it puts itself back into a boil and percolate cycle again.

I've contacted the seller about the problem ... but gotten no response so far. So much as I love...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great small percolator!, December 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I had been using a GE 12 cup model that finally failed after about a year and a half. This product is distinguished from the old GE, by a much more polished and careful finish, parts that are carefully crafted and handsomely designed, and very easy clean up. Both percolators brew a wonderful, rich, flavorful cup of coffee, far superior to the common filter coffee makers. I also like the smaller capacity, as I can brew a full caffeine pot early in the morning with 3.5 cups, then brew a decaf batch for late morning of three cups, which is perfect for my spouse and me to share. After the brew, the old GE would never clean up completely, and quickly developed a marked brown stain on all the parts. This product washes completely clean and stain free, and the appearance is noteworthy of fine kitchenware, obviously made to exhibit the pride of the manufacturer, not just demonstrate a functional bit of hardware.
The only down side to this item is it does take a little more coffee per cup than the old GE. I never leave the pot plugged in for more than 5 minutes after brew, so the rebrew mentioned by other reviewers has not been observed?? My item appears to work flawlessly as I use it.
I would recommend this item as providing a product that exceeded my expectations, unusual in the modern products I usually encounter!

4.0 out of 5 stars Is Oneida the new Farberware?, December 14, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Love percolator coffee. Loved my Farberware pot. But my latest 4-cup Farberware died after less than a year of use. After a little online research I discovered that is the new norm. Farberware pots just aren't made the way they used to be. Decided to try a new brand. Oneida was the only manufacturer that featured a 4-cup percolator.

Pro-perks quickly and makes a good pot of hot coffee. Nice design.

Con-cycles on and off after perking completed. So coffee cools down/reperks over and over when you keep it plugged in.

Conclusion-if it lasts I will love it...reperks and all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Chrome Clone, January 30, 2012

Works satisfactorily as expected. As a previous reviewer noted, tho, leave it plugged in long enough to keep coffee warm and the brew cycle will restart.

My neighbor bought a 2-4 cup Farberware and we discovered our coffee makers are virtually identical in design - right down to having interchangeable parts!

Both coffee makers have removeable cords which we deemed too short - but fortunately can be replaced with a longer PC computer power cord.

Stamped water-level markers are on the handle side of the pot making it awkward to monitor while filling at the tap.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oneida OPC4 4-Cup Stainless-Steel Coffee Percolator, January 24, 2012

Oneida OPC4 4-Cup Stainless-Steel Coffee Percolator

I purchased this Percolator Coffee Pot from Amazon on 12/23/2011, a last minute shop for my youngest Son who needed something just like this. So,decided to get it for him for Christmas. And I don't drink coffee. I had it rushed overnight. GOT IT! Christmas Eve Day. Great shipping and service. My Son is 33 yr old, and he really Loves this little pot. It is just perfect for him. He was thrilled and so surprised to get it. I'm from the old days when that is what you used for a cup of coffee and felt this was something very different than what you can get in the Retail Market of today. Lets face it: "There is nothing any better than Percolated Coffee," nor the smell of it early in the morning! I picked this specific pot because the others showed there was some complaints, in the reviews, about not being able to clean the spout because they were so small. I also think this particular pot can be a 4-6 cup size. It had not dawned on me that you can't find Percolator Coffee Pots in the retail stores anymore. My Son is Happy with it. I am Happy that I was able to get what I wanted for him, and it arrived just in time. I would recommend this pot for anyone who loves coffee and don't need a huge pot. Thank you Amazon.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Coffe Pot, January 23, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
After being frustrated with purchasing Faberware coffe pots and having them fail after only a years use by not keeping the coffe hot, I deceided to make a change. The Faberware product is truely unreliable!

The Oneida coffee pot delivers hot beatiful perked coffee. This pot also automatically reheats when left standing for a while. I am totaly satisfied with my Oneida purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best coffe yet !!, January 12, 2012
I've always been told that percolator coffee is the worst possible brew. The Oneida certainly disproves that old conundrum !! This makes the best coffee I've ever tasted !! Wish I had gotten the 8-cup model, as the 4-cup just barely brews 2 mugs full.
