I bought the Oneida Persuasion Flatware Set to be used as an everyday set. I liked its clean and simple design, and its mate finish on the handles. To my surprise, and in less than a year, a few of the handles had started to rust, like if a small drop of water had stayed and worked its way through the metal. This is ridiculous, I live alone and the set is barely used by the maid and me, so it has been exposed to a very light use. I do own other cheaper Oneida sets that had withstand years of use and abuse, but this one is not worth buying.

I have always preferred Oneida stainless flatware. I picked up two services of this pattern on sale years ago, and I have never regretted it. It is simple, sturdy and comfortable to use. Even the garbage disposal doesn't make much of a dent in a spoon. I have never had a piece rust or pit. I just wish more matching serving pieces were available.

So far so good... this is a great set of silverware... fully functional with simple lines. We have not experienced any discoloration at all, even when run through the dishwasher. This set is everything the description says it is. A+

I love this set. It's Oneida quality. What a shame that it has been discontinued. Better get as much as you need because that's all there is. I don't know what the other reviewer meant by saying this is not quality. You'll love this set. It has a soft luster, not the really shiny type of sheen. It's easy to clean because it's smooth. Versatile for everyday or for entertaining.

This is the worse set of flatware that I own. You would think that with the Oneida brand that there would be a quality product but this set is terrible.
