I purchased this Oneida flatware to replace my old, inexpensive, junky everyday stainless steel. When it arrived, the quality was much more than I expected. The pieces are lovely in detail and the weight is perfect - heavy but not bulky. The handles are long and easy to manipulate. This set is nice enough to put out with formal dishware and on holidays. And to use it everyday, for me, dresses up my table on a daily basis. Its very nice quality and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with it.

I was attracted to this set when I read the pieces were "large European styling". The shipping weight of the entire set in relation to some others, suggested the place settings were of decent size. Even at that, I was not prepared for the elegance, balance, shine, and smoothness of the pieces in this 12 piece setting plus hostess and serving utensils.

I considered this one of the best values I've found in quite awhile. After using the service for almost 2 weeks I know I will not regret taking a chance. I doubt you can buy more or better for your money.

I was very inpressed of the quality,and appearance of the set,plus a surprise,of 12 eztra teaspoons and desert forks,I have not found anything of this quality for this price range.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for quality and appearance for this price range,it cannot be beaten,for I have looked for a long time,anything that I came up with was very light weighted and not good in appearance.This looks like a high quality set,in which you would not think twice of using, even with your special company.

This far exceeded my expectations when I opened the box and saw the beautiful silverware in it. I love the design and the pieces are large and elegant. If I had a small criticism it would be that I wished each piece wasn't imprinted with Oneida-China....oh well that's life right now, seems like everything comes from China. Highly recommend this, you won't be disappointed!!

Incredible Quality & Value! I'm so pleased with this flatware set. I ordered it on Thursday and it arrived today on Monday, thank you Amazon.com! It's exactly what I've been looking for...continental sized, heavy weight, elegant flatware. I highly recommend it, I doubt you can find anything comparable for the same price and quality.

This set arrived today and I am more than pleased with it! My old set was made by rogers and was thin and cheap. I wanted a nice sturdy set, but also something different from what I have owned in the past. I search high and low for the right set and decided on this one. It is thick, heavy and very pretty! It however is not overly heavy, I am very impressed.

For the person who had a problem with it saying made in china, you cannot even see it unless you turn it over. And every set I have ever owned had the same imprint on the back. Pretty much everything is made in another country, doesn't mean it is not great quality.

Want quality, buy Oneida because you cannot go wrong with this company.

I was looking for some nice, everyday flatware. Oneida is a great brand, and I was more than happy about the price. The pieces are larger and heavier than we were used to, but it is what you would expect from a more expensive set. We haven't had any problems with rusting, but I don't soak my flatware. They are put through the dishwasher a lot, though.

I loved this set when I first got it but after washing it twice (once after it came, and once after the first use) one of the knives has rust on it. Very disappointed!
P.S. It is now about a month after I got the set and I have eight knives with rust on them.

I bought this item and was more impressed with it after delivery! The value & quality is the best I've seen for Oneida! There are 24 tea spoons & 24 salad forks to make sure every one served matches! It also comes with a few serving pieces & I would like to get more of those too! You won't regret this buy!
