I now own 12 full place settings in this pattern, including a serving set because of my appreciation for the quality of the utensils. They clean up nicely in the dishwasher and show no signs of wear, although my original set was purchased three years ago. Each utensil is properly weighted, which is something a lot of newer, stylish designs have a problem overcoming. The reason I did not give this set a full five stars is because there are occasional tarnish spots on the knives after being run through the dishwasher. Although it is a detractor, the spots are easily cleaned off. I firmly believe you can't buy a better quality set for the money.

If you look at the reviews for the 53 piece Satin Sand Dune set of this same pattern you will see that I rated that set with 5 stars. The reason I have to deduct one star from the rating for the 24 piece set is due to the fact that not all the pieces included were made with the same quality or to the same standard. Before I opened the box for the 24 piece set or the 53 piece set I ordered through Amazon I first took a look at the labels on the boxes, and much to my surprise the 24 piece set was labeled "Made in USA or Vietnam" I was rather excited at the thought that at least part of my new flatware was made in the USA. After opening the box I discovered that less than half the pieces in the 24 piece box were made in the USA and the rest were made in Vietnam just as my entire 53 piece set was. My excitement soon passed as I separated the pieces and closely examined the pieces comparing the US product to the Vietnamese product. Sadly enough the pieces made in the USA did not have the same finish as the others. The edges on the USA marked pieces were not smoothed out or polished as the other pieces had been. The edges were still sharp and showed tooling marks from when the flatware was stamped out while being manufactured. Along with having sharp unpolished edges the USA pieces do not exhibit the same shine as the other pieces in the set and the satin finished area is not as pronounced. The real test however was placing two sets out and asking the wife if she noticed any difference between the two place settings. She immediately pointed to the Vietnamese produced setting and said that they looked slightly better than the other (USA) set. Overall I am very pleased with this flatware, just saddened that the domestic product does not appear to be produced to the same standard as the other foreign made pieces.

I've owned this set for 3 years now. The spoons and forks are okay. There was some unequal polishing on the handles - since the outsides are polished and the inside concave portion is not - there wasn't a crisp line between polished and not. I've had a problem with the blades of the knives separating from the handles. The knives tend to bend at the handle and then when you correct the bend, you end up with a space between the handle and blade. I'm not sure you can do better for the price, but I know you can do better.

The silverware is extremely nice - compared to other I bought elsewhere. They are polished for a nice feel, and combined with the weight, this makes for pleasure while eating. Also, saving more than 50% from the original price is awesome!! :)

I have owned this set for almost four years, and they have held up beautifully. Having a family of five and cycling through the dishwasher every day, they still look new. I've never used an abrasive cleaner on them, so the finish is still in great condition. I bought the set during the occaional 50% off sale and got a great deal.

We've had 3 sets in just over 1-1/2 years. Return policy is great but it's a hassle. Can't Oneida make silverware that doesn't rust? I'm going to try a different brand.

I ordered this because of the good price and secure site. I was not disappointed. The package came very quickly and in good order. I would use your site again.
