When I saw this set I thought it would be an excellent casual set. I doubt I will ever purchase a flatware set with handles again.Pros: -The handles add a cute, casual and colorful look to your table. Cons: -I experienced rusting with a few random pieces in the set after just one handwashing! ------------------------------------------------------ Honestly, unless you are truely in love with the design or the colors or the prices, I would rather invest in an all stainless set. I don't find the knives to be dull, I notice some reviewers have mentioned that they felt the knives were dull. I am not going to dipute that because I suppose it is a matter of opinion. I thought they were fine. Hope this helps!

this flatware is great, heavy, solid, not cheezy . Am thrilled with it, now I'd like to find serving ware that matches the table flatware.

I have had this set from Oneida for over two years and have not had a single rusting problem with them. The knives may not cut steak well, but you should really invest in some steak knives anyway. The thick handles give a nice heft to the set and they work well in casual situations. I'm ordering a second set today!
