Beautiful dishes, can be dressed up or down.
I've had these dishes for two years, now. The set comes with enough pieces (seven per place setting) to set up a formal arrangement and they're great for everyday use. My set had no problems and no flaws. I'd have given them five stars, but they chip a little easier than I'd like (we have two chipped bowls after two years). The tiny bowls are an unusual peice for a...

Terrible - black specs everywhere
I bought these dishes because I wanted a nice set of white dishes. However, these are terrible. I could not make one complete serving for eight set out of three (3) boxes! The first box had a broken plate, but I could have lived with that. But every dish had big random black specs on them, the plates had inverted dimples in the middle of them, and the clearcoat had...

I bought these dishes because I wanted a nice set of white dishes. However, these are terrible. I could not make one complete serving for eight set out of three (3) boxes! The first box had a broken plate, but I could have lived with that. But every dish had big random black specs on them, the plates had inverted dimples in the middle of them, and the clearcoat had bubbles when it wasn't just missing. Also, the logo on the bottom of the dishes was incomplete. The other two boxes did not have broken pieces, but the dishes were just as horrible! I found about 8 usable dishes in the first box, and even less in the second. Disgraceful!!

My set had no problems and no flaws. I'd have given them five stars, but they chip a little easier than I'd like (we have two chipped bowls after two years). The tiny bowls are an unusual peice for a dinner set at this price and are fabulous for poached eggs, apple sauce, anything with a sauce or gravy you don't want to mix with the rest of the food. They also make great prep bowls.

I love my set of dishes. They did have 1 tiny black speck on one of the plates, but nothing that realy stands out. They can be dressed up or down. It looks great on the table. One of my cups has a small chip on it not even sure when that happened. We use these daily so that is to be expected with regular use especially if you are not careful. I still would buy them again for the price.
