I have an SKS-HT240 speaker system. Although the product description purports that these stands fit my speakers, they indeed, do not. In addition, be forewarned that despite the claim in the product description, these stands are NOT height adjustable. If you think that you might like these stands for another speaker system, you might wish to contact Onkyo directly to make sure of compatibility, as you obviously cannot rely on the Onkyo provided description.
Finally, one of the two stands came with screw holes that failed to line up by quite a large margin, allowing the use of only one of the two screws to hold the pole to the base. Poor quality control. They actually deserve a '0' rating. Onkyo: (800) 229-1687.

Base is a littler light, not made for all Onkyo speakers. I have an Onkyo 920 and I had to modify the speakers to fit these stands.
I would NOT buy another set nor would I recommend them to a friend.

Great looking stands, works with HT-S7409,

In my opinion these look worlds better than the pedestal stands built for bookshelf speakers and that seemed to be one of the only alternatives out there. While the HT-S7409 wasn't listed as a compatible product I figured I would give it a shot and sure enough they fit perfectly even with 12awg wire. My only complaint was the pipe section was pretty difficult to completely seat into the base and I had to use a rubber mallet to help it along.

Onkyo Speaker Stands,

Perhaps a bit more costly than some stands but well made. I'm ordering a second set for a 7.1 setup. They fit the Onkyo speakers perfectly. As others have said, not height adjustable..and the speaker wire is a bit thin otherwise this review could have been 5 stars...

I bought four Onkyo AS140 Speaker Stands a few months ago and have been very happy with the purchase. They are very professional looking, stable, and easy to install. I originally thought it would have been nice to have the height adjustable, but in practical terms, this is not a problem. Plus, I am sure this would have added to the product cost. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

I really like these speaker stands. They were very easy to assemble and the hidden wires add to the wireless look. The picture of the speakers and speaker stand in the amazon.com ad depicts the exact speakers I own. It's very difficult to find speaker stand for these model speakers. I ordered a few different speaker stand that didn't work at all. These speaker stands work perfectly. They may seem like the screw and the hold on the speaker stand doesn't match up. Once you pull back on the speaker stand they will snap into position to align perfectly.
The look is sleek and the base even has the Onkyo logo which is a nice touch.

These stands are very well finished. They fit perfectly on the speakers I bought (SKSHT750 set). It is a little tricky to install the first one, but when you realize how to do it, it is so easy that you can do it alone. The manual, however, is not so clear on how to hold the speakers on the stands. It is an empirical experience.
The speakers's wires go into the stands, avoiding mess. The drawback is that the hole through wich the wires pass are on the back of the base, so you have to circle the wires along the base, making your room not so clear.

As others have noted, the speaker stands are not height adjustable. However, that didn't really bother me in the slightest. I used them for my Onkyo HT-S6100 7.1 system, and they work great. Setup was easy; they're compatible with the Onkyo speakers; they're solid stands and not too obtrusive; and they hide the cords from the floor up to the speaker. Overall, they're definitely a worthwhile purchase.

...and what you pay for are really good quality speaker stands! The hidden cable down the pole is a nice addition as well. Very sturdy and sleek looking compared to a lot of the cheapo stands out there. Only thing I would change is just get the ONKYO HT-S7100 instead of the HT-S6100 which is what I did.

Do not buy this for the HT-S7409 it will not fit properly. Additionally, one of the poles was particularly broken in the stand, thank goodness Amazon has an excellent return policy.
