The second-generation CBX-300 CD receiver system is a rewarding blend of style, direct iPod integration and superb music performance. It sports a black saran net across the entire frontage, giving it greater appeal wherever you decide to place it--in your bedroom, living room, kitchen or office. The CBX-300's construction supports exemplary audio fidelity, especially for the low-end frequencies. The design also incorporates speaker developments such as Onkyo's own OMF (Onkyo Micro Fiber) diaphragms and Aero Acoustic Drive--technology you'll find in some of Onkyo's separate speakers.

I recently purchased this unit for my son's birthday. He is staying with us while he recovers from a motorcycle accident. He wanted an i-pod dock, so I got him this and glad I did. I have a decent stereo system and enjoy quality sound reproduction. This little unit does it all, CD playback, i-pod doc, Etc. as well as quality sound. The volume my not knock your socks off, but for casual listening it's great. Loud enough to fill any room.

I recently purchased this for my Den, and was totaly
blown away by how good it sounds. I had tried the $499.00 Cambridge, and returned it because of the poor sound quality of my CD,s. When I ordered this one, I really wasn,t expecting much, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. I LOVE IT!!!!

I wanted a good-sounding Radio/CD unit without detached speakers
for a small space... and I didn't want to spend $500 for the Bose equivalent.
