Very good player for the money
This DVD player does everything you need for 1080p with excellent sound to match. I only wish it had the RI interface that is available for Onkyo components but otherwise no complaints.

Product fine but service bad
Never had such a difficult time receiving the product. 1. Wrong product (Sony unit, instead of Onkyo unit) was delivered. 2. Replacement did not ship as the customer representative promised. 3. DHL has such a unfriendly service and very inflexible about delivery options.

Excellent quality replays. DPI enhancement really makes a difference.Unfortunately, remote is cheap with limited functionality.

I got this DVD player bundled with an HTIB from Onkyo and there has been no turning back. It supports HDMI out and combined with the receiver, up to 7 speakers. All DVD's are upconverted perfectly and I have rarely seen any visual artifacts. The remote is intuitive and the setup is pretty minimal. I have thrown in every possible format and it has picked it up without any complaints. Note, this does not play BluRay DVDs.

Purchased this after my old Onkyo DR-90 stopped working. This unit is great. The picture quality using the HDMI port and digital coax audio. Watching movies with the DVD player is worth it. And it's a great price for an upscaling player from Onkyo.

The quality of the product reminds me of Made in Japan boomboxes of 80's/
Very solid build. Awesome picture and sound. Good menu. Cons: No usb port. The remote looks cheap and doest match to the quality of the player.

Simply put, I bought this to round out my Onkyo stereo system. As I have only the cheap model it replaced to compare it with, I'll give it 5 stars for it's excellent build, quiet operation and good looks
