"One of the main things I learned from this book is that there are many more sources for legitimate online coupons than I ever knew about. I have even found coupons for items I actually use. Thanks to the straightforward information about coupons I decided to get right to work finding and using coupons." - Jackie, Author of Blessing Overflowing

"I think it's a clear and concise explanation of couponing that's both ethical and interesting.  Beth's got great wit and insight on how to successfully coupon your way to saving money in the grocery aisles and online.  And this book is short, too, giving you the highest best information so that you can read it quickly." -Cheri, Author of Queen of Free

About the Author

After leaving behind the never-sleeping world of pharmaceutical market research and diving into the excitement of being a stay-at-home mom, Beth Montgomery found herself pushing through the days with even less sleep. During the extra-late-night hours, she refocused her energy into her family's one-income budget, challenging herself to see if they could live within their new (very tight) means, while not giving up the little luxuries that make life fun.

It wasn't long before Beth cut her $200-per-week grocery budget down to $40-per-week -- for a family of three, including one expensive tiny infant. Even as her family expanded, her grocery budget never exceeded $50 per week. Eager friends and family begged to know her secret, so she started a website, In Good Cents, where she shared all her favorite deals, ways to save, and frugal recipes. On this site, Beth focuses on teaching others realistic -- not extreme -- couponing and ethical ways to save.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Couponing Resource October 25, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Beth Montgomery runs the website In Good Cents which is one of my favorite sites for money saving tips and coupon matchups. When I found out she was putting together a book about online couponing I knew I needed to get a copy. Beth is known for presenting great information in an easy to use manner and this book is the perfect example of that.

Online Couponing in a Day for Dummies takes a potentially overwhelming subject and breaks it down in to manageable information bites. One of the things that I love about Beth's presentation is that she is completely realistic. Online Couponing in a Day for Dummies is a quick read but it is packed with information that will take some time to work through. I am confident that by following Beth's tips about sale cycles, coupon matching, and stockpiling commonly used ingredients I will be able to get a better handle on our grocery budget. I also have a much better feel for where to look for coupons on products that we actually use in our household.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good resource! February 1, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a good book for the new, intermediate or even advanced couponer. It is very thorough, covers a wealth of topics, and appears to be well-researched. I skimmed the entire thing completely, and am now going back through it in more detail. I think this is a "must have" for anyone who is serious about couponing - and saving money!

Beth paid $24.95 (without a coupon) for her husband, Scott. After receiving an e-mail from an online dating service featuring his profile, she paid the membership fee just to meet him. They are now very happily married and living in Indiana with their three adorable young children and three huge dogs. Her home is always chaotic, but never (ever) boring. In her "spare" time, Beth writes for the Indianapolis Star, sharing her ways to save with Indiana readers each week.
