This book was just what it promised.....to the point and easy to get online, fast ... I don't like to read a lot of info, the section about what phrases attract the opposite sex really did work!

I have been dating online for eight years, and consider myself to be somewhat of an expert on the matter. I bought this book for my father, widowed after 41 years of marriage. But even after a year of online dating, I believe he knows more than this book purported to teach. It contains no information not widely available on the internet. It was outdated the year it was published (2001). And the most preposterous section in it was about spelling and grammar--ironic, for a small book rife with orthographic errors! I can't believe the authors managed to get it published. Please don't waste your money.

This book is awesome,the one bad review I see is on the old, initial book that was copyrighted in 2000. This book is the second edition and copyrighted 2004. These authors spoke at Vanderbilt University on this new edition and they were fantastic. This format is easy to use, yet packed with great info on how to know exactly what you are looking for and then how to get people to respond to your ads.....it really worked for me.

I have ordered several books on this subject. I find this book to have the most current information and a broad range of information. The personality test were very interesting, I learned a lot about myself.

I found the Online Dating Survival Guide quite helpful. After reading it I developed the courage to place an ad at one of the online dating sites found on the net, loveatfirstclick.com. The book gave me the much needed skills to sort, search and remain anonymous. The book and the effectiveness of loveatfirstclick.com helped me meet someone that I found to be just right. I'd recommmend this book, and the web site too!!

I am new at dating and I needed a book to get me started with online dating. I found the Online Dating Survival Guide very practical and easy to use. It made me consider some options with online dating that I otherwise would not have thought about. I am in a great relationship now, I met Mr. Wonderful online and I owe much of my success to the book! I highly recommend it if you are serious about meeting that special person.
