This is a really clever devotional book for the 9-12 crowd. It's relevant for today's tweens. Each devotional is short - just a page and a half, or two pages. Plus, they describe issues that are happening - right now - in the girls' lives, and explains the issues, their feelings, and what the Bible has to say. This would be a great birthday, back-to-school, or Christmas gift. I gave my copy to my 10-year old niece when she was here with us, and I call her every couple of days to make sure she's reading it, and enjoying it. She said that she does read one devotion each day, although she's tempted to read more than one, simply because it's easy to read and easy to like.

With wit, humor, and profound insight, Knowlton has created a classic devotional for anybody who's ever struggled with friendships, school, parents, ...life. This is a perfect gift for any teen or tween, that rare blend of a book they'll love, and a book you know you can trust.

I bought this book for my niece but had to read it first and I'm glad I did! Very appropriate for any teenage girl (and even adults!). Well written and kept my attention. I loved it.
