He has optimized over 250+ websites and has written over 500+ press releases from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. He is the former director of the Apple user group at the Boston Computer Society (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Computer_Society), has an entry in Wikipedia, Former Director of Boston Interactive, and has served as an advisor for undergraduate and graduate students at Babson College on generating business plans for new products. He has also written productivity and database software for Apple, Inc., IBM, Commodore, and Casio. Haffer earned his master's degree in business administration from Babson College.

As a novice to Online Marketing and operator of a website that was in need of a great deal of revitalization, Gary Haffer's Book provided a fantastic understanding for the non-technical user, and was able to expand into more complicated concepts with ease. The proof is in the numbers- an exponential increase in hits to my website after implementing these simple, highly effective tips.

I am a web developer and have spent several years building an online presence. Everyone knows that meta data and content are crucial and Gary Haffer reveals "Best Practices" that definitely boosted my organic listings. I found the chapter on choosing keyword phrases very useful. I was able to better understand my competition so that I could develop landing pages that put me on the first page in the SERPS. Oh yes, if you are a novice, Gary's glossary of terminology is a must read. Gary dedicates several chapters to off site marketing. I especially appreciated the "no cost" marketing techniques that absolutely direct more customers to my web site. No matter what your level of expertise is, you will find Gary Haffer's book easy to read and full of useful information that will increase your bottom line.

As a career Web Designer I have read many articles/books on SEO and Online Marketing. Please let me save EVERYONE some time and let you know that this book has it all. It is easy to read with many examples and gets right to the point. Best of all, you can see the results on your websites because what is written in the book ACTUALLY WORKS!

There's lots of opinions and practices out there regarding SEO - most of them are wrong. Online Marketing Terms Exposed shows you how to harness the power of Google and maximize your web presence! It is a must-have for anyone who is serious about having their site found on the web.
