This book is an excellent introduction to the subject of online reputation management, with clear explanations of why it's so important to be aware of your online reputation and what you can do about it. The book is written for people and companies who want to know what they can do right now to manage their online reputation. It's to the point and easy to read -- no heavy corporate jargon or PR lingo, just lots of tips and strategies from someone who knows what he's talking about.

And while you may think that only companies need to worry about their reputation, these days everyone needs to keep tabs on what an online search reveals about them. That's why it's nice that the book also includes sections that focus on individuals and college students. So yes, there's a little of something for everyone in this book, which is why it's a good starting point if you need to quickly get up to speed on what online reputation management is all about.
