@TheOlaf - I'm pretty sure they added the $15 credit because toysrus is selling it for $44.99....
@Max Payne - I don't pay tax or shipping with amazon. I know some states do though... Toys r us on the other hand I do have to pay tax. I also was able to get my preorder in before they took away $0.99 release day delivery, and I do a lot of shopping on amazon so the credit works for me.
Unfortunately the state of Texas now has to pay tax when shopping on Amazon. I would very much like to shop with Amazon however their business model has steered me away in this case. I will end up saving a bit on the tax and gaining the freedom of choosing where to spend the $15 I save. That is pretty good incentive for me, doesn't mean I won't spend that $15 on Amazon just means I have the option not to.
Eh, its slightly annoying to have to pay for the shipping when I can go to toys r us, pay the same price for the game (with the credit offered here) and not have to pay for shipping. I buy everything from amazon, so I figured Id go with the store credit, but the shipping is turning the tides.
I ordered from Toys R Us in July and received an email saying its on backorder! How does this happen? No longer ordering from them. About to write a nasty email to toys r us. I wish I knew this prior to release date so I could have ordered from newegg for 48. Anyone else having issues with toys r us?
