5.0 out of 5 stars Drive to, Dance to, Workout to!
The Only Dance 1975-1979 compellation offers a great collection of disco chart toppers, perfect for dancing, driving and even working out. If your looking for one disco CD to cure your dance fever, this is absolutely a worthwhile addition to your CD case.

3.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good, but missing a few key songs
All in all I thought the cd was great, but it is missing a few "traditional" disco songs (Such as "Love Hangover" by Diana Ross, which ironically on the pop charts was #1 for 18 weeks and on the R&B charts was #1 for 17 weeks!) So if you're new to disco, this is the CD for you. In my opinion not for hard-core discoers.

It always like this, you buy a CD for a couple of songs. That is one reason MP3 and on-line music has boomed. Recording companies takes us for suckers.

There are rather obscure titles in this CD:
* Tear the Roof off the Sucker (Give up the Funk) - Parliament
* Turn the Beat Around - Robinson, Vicki Sue
* Let's Do It Again - Staple Singers
* The Groove Line - Heatwave

What about Dona Summer? The Bee Gees? Musique? Katmandu? Lime? Kelly Marie? Even the Rolling Stones have a disco hit.

The guy who gave 5 stars to this album must be a relative of one of the lesser known signers...
