5.0 out of 5 stars Only God Can Judge Me
Hey, this a phat album. It's a gangsta album just like his old ones! The best tracks are Step To Dis, Return Of Da Don, Say Brah, Ice On My Wrist, Ghetto In The Sky, Ain't Nuttin Changed, Y'all Don't Want None, Who Down To Ride & Da Ballers. More of the half of the songs are tight, so I defenitivly recommend you this album. And also pick his new one up called Ghetto...

1.0 out of 5 stars The Beginning of the End, January 24, 2004
This review is from: Only God Can Judge Me (Audio CD)
This was the last no limit cd I ever purchased....I swore to myself three years ago if the cd was junk I would throw it out the car window and keep on driving and never puchase another no limit and especially master p cd. I stayed true. His flow lacks any originality and he would rather bite true artists like tupac instead of coming up with something new or interesting to say...when not biting tupac without shame he spits tired flows about bentleys, cash, how he's the best, or just plain garbage....his cd in the end just sounds like "wah wah wah wah wah wah" like the teacher in peanuts....any real hip hop fan will take a shovel and bury any future no limit release...if you wanna hear no limit check out ghetto D or unpredictable by mystikal...otherwise pass.

5.0 out of 5 stars SMARTER Than You Think!, December 16, 1999

Master P has always expressed himself in the bruntest of terms, but the underlying message is clear - go to school and work hard! You can be a doctor, lawyer or accountant. The only thing that matters is that you improve yourself. So many people complain about No Limit artist's lack of deep lyrics, but one listen to "Stop Playing Wit Me" shows that Master P has an excellent grasp on worldly matters. When was the last time you heard a rapper rhyme "Horatio" (a reference to Horatio Alger) with "Mercutio" (from Shakespeare)? Say what you want, but Master P is tops in the game!

3.0 out of 5 stars Peep Dis!, November 15, 1999
By A Customer

Aight look, P shouldn't be claimin all this "Last Don" bull ish and he shouldn't be puttin "Biggest Rap Alblum Ever" in the ads for this CD. But for those of you who are getting sick of No Limit's worn out sound and style, but still feel the artists, this CD could be for you. Master P's "Only God Could Judge Me" isn't anywhere near the level of 1997's "Ghetto D" or "Tru 2 Da Game" but It's an interesting alblum none the less. With the recent departure of P's production crew Beats By The Pound, No Limit's sound has been changed forever. New producers Carlos Stephens and XL lay down some fire tracks on the alblum, and perhaps even more encouraging for the future, rappers D.I.G and Magic are blazin on there guest spots (most noteably "Ain't Nothin Changed".) The alblum also features hot appearences by Nas, Jermaine Dupri, Mac, Mystikal and C-Murder, but dissapointing cameos by Silkk The Shocker and Ghetto Commision. At times, P dissappoints the listener with B.S. tracks like "Return Of Da Don" and "Nobody Move". Both are overly simplistic lyricaly and feature worn out No Limit beats. There are several positives however. First off, P lays off of the "Ugghhhs!" which were getting old. "Step To Dis" and "Da Ballers" are sure fire hits. While "Where Do We Go From Here" and "Ghetto In The Sky" are moving with thoughtfull lyrics. This alblum ain't great, but it's not bad either. Real No Limit Soldiers gotta cop it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Straight up Trash, June 25, 2000

Really, I don't see the point! Am I the only person in the world that has good hearing! Master P album ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME is sooo trashy and stupid. Every track digs you deeper into idiocy. After a while you'll feel like your losing some brain cells, and you might even forget how to spell. This album is for straight up losers, which is just as bad as his movies. I'm from the Bronx,NY where real hip-hop started such as TRIBE CALLED QUEST and KRS 1 and NAS. Master P albums (especially this one) is not worth buying. Don't waste your time. Watching Gilligans Island is a much better pastime.

This review is from: Only God Can Judge Me (Audio CD)
Look everyone of yall hatin on No Limit and talkin all of that trash need to stop. If you think that Cashmoney is takin over No Limit then you been fooled. Cashmoney is sorry. If you got to copy someones style just to be good then you ain't nothin yourself and thats exactly what Cashmoney did here. Some of there beats might be alright but why couldnt they get there own style. And besides all of there CD's have only one or no good songs on them. How long can a group of 6 people last. NO LIIMIT RUNNIN THIS FOR DA 2000 YA HEARD ME!
