with a title like this, you know it's gonna be crunk!, December 7, 2009
This review is from: Only on the Left Side (Audio CD)
i'm a huge fan of Crip rappers, and i collect alot of cd's from any rapper that reps crip. I first got into Daz on the Whiteboys soundtrack, w/ the song he did w/ Soopafly "Hell Ya". I never bought any of his cd's at the time, but when i saw "Only on the Left Side" on sale, i decided to buy it... Daz never disappoints me, so i took a chance..
well this cd def did not disappoint... it's very rare to come across a cd where you like every song on it! This cd is so gangsta, so crunk, it's hard not to blare this one in your car or where ever you may be... alot of bass on this cd... good beats... daz hit the nail on the head when he made this cd.. this one is another creation from his genius mind.
good cd to smoke to, dance to, drive, whatever... this cd is the bomb.... def go out an cop this cd, no matter what the price... i got mine on sale, but if i didn't pay $6.50 for it (like i did), i would of paid the $20 it was orig. selling for...
i'd even pay up to $40... it is that good... def one to keep around in the collection.

Daz returns with another good album, August 20, 2008
This review is from: Only on the Left Side (Audio CD)
Daz is bacc once again with a new solo, and another good one in my opinion. This is the 21st album I have that Daz has been a part of (either solo, compilations, or group album), and like usual he doesn't disappoint. With 16 songs on here, you get 1 almost classic, 5 ok songs, and the other 10 are good, a few being real good. Guests aren't oo heavy, orapping on 5 songs and doing the hooks on 2 others. Like usual Daz gives you your hood tales, upbeat party tacks, drug related lyrics, and a few dirty songs. Production is nice as well, and handled mostly by Mr. Dillinger himself (does 10 songs with Ivan Johnson and 2 with Soopafly), and Soopafly, Swizz Beats, Salaam Wreck,a nd Lil Ronnie each do 1 song. A nice album tohave for fans of Diggity Daz.
#1 - 9(nice beat)
#2 - 6.5 (f/ Swizz Beats)
#3 - 8.5
#4 - 9.5 (tight beat and re-do of an old Ice Cube classic from 1991)
#5 - 8 (f/ Krayzie Bone)
#6 - 7
#7 - 8.5 (nice beat -- smoking song)
#9 - 8 (f/ Keak da Sneak -- be better without him as he isn't one of my favorites)
#10 - 8 (f/ Manish Man)
#11 - 7
#12 - 7.5
#13 - 8.5 (f/ Snoop Dogg -- nice relaxing beat)
#14 - 8.5 (deep song -- f/ Nicole Wray & Tyrese)
#15 - 7.5
#16 - 8.5 (f/ Obie Trice -- good beat)
#17 - 9 (f/ Kurupt -- tight beat)

real dope album, December 18, 2009
This review is from: Only on the Left Side (Audio CD)
it has some filler tracks, but the incredibly dope tracks make up for it. once again you'll hear classic daz productions on here.
my favourite tracks are: "squeeze the trigger", "my summer vacation", "Meal Ticket", "Me & my cuzzin", "regretz", "who i be" & "this is how we live".
i highly recommmed to any daz fans to buy this album.
