5.0 out of 5 stars Simply, One of my favorites
I am certainly not a music expert, but I have 1500+ LP's and I don't have any idea how many CD's, but this is in the top 5 of any I own. Can't exactly say why...Saw the Phonics live a couple of times, always great. This album has it's dark side, no doubt, but if you listen to it from beginning to end, it leaves you with a very real feeling that you just can't shake. It's...

2.0 out of 5 stars disapointed
I love Stereophonics, and Kelly Jones' voice. I liked one song on here, so I got the whole cd. Not really to my liking. Was very dark and depressing and not very musical. Very one note, and almost all the same sombre tones.

Unbelieveable.

Kelly Jones is awesome, the cd is awesome. If you like Kelly and or Stereophonics you'll like this. Enough said.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Title Says It All, November 20, 2007

Each song is about a particular woman. I found this music to be complicated, simple, sexy, beautiful, and ugly, much like moods of a woman. I don't believe that a concept recording about a man would have this many facets, it would be just horny and hungry rather than provocative. Kelly Jones' novel idea is a piece of art. I'm glad I bought it, and so will you. It comes with a companion DVD.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, November 1, 2007

I will be honest with you. I am not a stereophonics fan. I like a few songs here and there, but overall they don't appeal to me. This is something else. It is a very dark and raw album. Jones reminds me at times the alice in chains frontman Layne staley, with that pain that comes out of his voice in every song... The lyrics are daunting, the music is very simple but it is a hidden gem.
Buy this album. you will not regret this, I promise.
