Fast read, easy to apply! I read it a week ago and have found this to be hugely effective with my 3 year old. She even understand the words "opportunity" and "responsibility" now! The methods are almost common sense but give you the security of knowing how to always respond. The difference, the response... very effective. It's also made clear to me the things that I need to work on in order to be a more effective parent. I'm a big fan of Chick Moorman and Thomas Haller and this book seals the deal.

This is a great book! It's a fast read which is great for busy parents that need help now! It was very helpful to me and easy to relay info on to my husband as well as others (friends) in similar situations. I had a recent opportunity to hear the author speak and he is just a brilliant person full of the "common sense" approach to dicipline as well as life in general. I can't say enough about the book. I found it extreamly helpful and worth every penny!

If you are a parent, this book will give you the skills your children need you to have to effectively parent them. After implementing the first strategy I already saw a change in behavior. I like that the theory is for children to develop their own internal authority. That way they are behaving because they know why they should, not just because an adult tells them to.

Just want to say that the book is full of practical advice and is immediately useful. Well worth the purchase price.
