Tyler Bonnard was coming home. He had been gone for a very long two years, but upon hearing about the marriage of his two closest friends Steve Sommers and Katelyn Rosewood, he had to come home. Tyler was there to claim Kate - the only woman he had ever loved. He knew the trouble that he would be causing by returning. Steve was his best friend in the world, and had been for over twenty years, but even knowing the pain he would inflict on him, he still had to claim the woman meant for him. He never wanted to leave her, but didn't feel like he had any other choice at the time.

Kate had loved Ty with her entire being, and it destroyed her when he left. She clung to Steve after that, and they both comforted each other. He had been deeply in love with Tyler's sister Pen, and they were both struggling to live with their losses. Now that Ty was back, Kate was afraid. She knew in her heart that she was one hundred percent in love with him, but Steve was her rock. He had picked her up when she was lost, and together had carved out a future to share. How was she supposed to choose between the two men that she had loved with all her heart? One would be destroyed, and how was she supposed to live with it?

Interesting story with many twists and turns. It would have been better if the characters were more defined and developed. There also wasn't enough history and detail provided to become deeply involved with the story.

This book is great most of the time you don't know whither or not to just beat the tar out of Tyler. Katelyn loves him but in the time he has been gone she has replaced him in her life. Unfortunately for all of them it is Tyler's best friend Steve. this is a great book about learning the different degrees of love and seeing what is settling and what is true. I found the struggles they all have a great way to stay with the story.

Tyler had devastated Katie Rosewood two years ago when he had dumped her. Now Katie has moved on and is engaged to Tyler's best friend Steve. Katie's relationship with Steve may not have the passion she experienced with Tyler but she knows that it's a good fit and they can be happy together. But when Tyler hears that Steve and Katie are getting married he realizes that he can't give Katie up and rushes home to try and get her back. However, he knows that if he wants a fighting chance with Katie he'll have to tell her the truth about why he left.

I'm not usually one for "he dumped her and he's back for a second chance" storylines but Jess Dee made me love it. Tyler had genuine reasons for leaving which twist the reader's heart, while I was still mad at him they made me want to forgive him for hurting Katie. Add to this the smokin' hot passion between Tyler and Katie and Only Tyler is a definite winner! I'll be impatiently tapping my foot waiting for Jess Dee to give me Steve's story. I happily recommend Only Tyler to everyone!!
