Paige worked in the office of the governor of NY. But when scandal touches her old boss, and extends to her, she finds herself jobless. She ends up sleeping with the delivery boy she met at work, then leaves him at the bar. When her former boss sets up an interview with a friend of his, it is **gasp** the delivery boy she wham-bam-thank you-man'd at the bar. And he's the CEO. She talk s her way into the job, and we are treated to the formation of Paige and Leo's relationship...if you can call it that.

Their relationship only consists of sex, work, and Paige not getting too close because she is only temporary.

The book is only on Paige's point of view, which I tired of, and I would have loved to see what Leo thought every once in a while. Because I needed to see what his motivations are for doing things because he came off as a huge jerk to me. Having Paige schedule dates with other women after having sex with her. Also, it was never explained why he had a closet full of dresses in a variety of styles, colors, and sizes. This didn't put him in a positive light to me.

Trust is a HUGE Issue in this book, as Paige feels nobody ever believes her, which is true. And at the end it's no surprise when Leo doesn't belie what she is telling him. It didn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out that was going to happen. But I WILL say, I don't understand why she forgave Leo so easily. As well as forgiving Amy and Hazel when the basically shut her out of an important part of their lives like she was a leper. Even if they couldn't be seen in public together there are ways to get in tough with the people you care about.

I didn't like the interference of Leo's cousin and sister in their relationship. It was none of their business.

Fortunately, this book is on Kindle Freetime. Read Breathe You In and liked it. Well written, nicely edited, liked it enough that I went ahead and got Only You. The story lines are almost identical and that really bugs me. Two girls (supposedly best friends) working hard to get ahead - two girls with bad pasts - both betrayed by their mothers? Really?? REALLY??? I can understand somewhat similar plots but back to back books with almost identical ones? Not so much. I think I'm done with Ms. Ryan

I was given the amazing opportunity to read Only You and I can't thank Joya Ryan enough!!!I have read several of her other books but this one is by far my favorite! Only You is one of those books that you tell yourself "just one more chapter" and before you know it you have read the entire book. It's that good! Every. Single. Chapter. left me aching for more.

Paige Levine is a go getter. Running from a past where no one believed her, Paige finds herself in NY with her best friend. She has supported herself since leaving home, putting herself through college and working her way up the career ladder, now working for the governors office. She is always two steps ahead and doesn't think in the sense of here and now but rather how and when something will affect her life down the road. When a scandal rocks the governor's office, Paige is left trying to pick herself up and start over while trying to prevent history from repeating itself. And then a chance encounter, one in which Paige lets go and doesn't think about the consequences, just might change her life forever.

Leandro "Leo" Salvas is running a multimillion dollar shipping company. He is sexy and confident and a powerful man in the business world. Leo, too, is also recovering from a painful past and his family wants to see to it that he is happy. When Paige Levine walks into his office, Leo knows he wants her as more than just his assistant. But Paige has a habit of running and Leo's family has other plans... Can these two make it beyond a professional relationship?

Hot. Steamy. Full of Angst. Captivating. Only You is a definite must read. The sexual tension and angst just rolled off the pages keeping me engaged until the very end. I loved the characters, flaws and all.

Paige has had a rough go most over her life...she tends to only let her friends in so far...she has worked hard to have an upstanding reputation and a career she is proud of.
However after a scandalous situation that takes place with her job at the governor's office she finds herself jobless soon to be homeless and so very alone.
Drinking her sorrows away at a local bar with her go to drink tequila seems like a great way to end her day of hell. And along comes a hot sexy delivery man...that leads to a sexy moment in the bar restroom.
Little does Paige know this delivery man is no delivery man but Leo Savas shipping magnate world wide
Leo hires her as his personal assistant reluctantly and Paige makes it her mission to do the best job and keep him at arms length..Leo is not having it...He wants the real Paige not the fake person she likes to hide behind. Paige has been hurt and has a difficult time trusting people. Leo finds himself wanting more than just a personal assistant, but will Paige be able to let go over her past and let love in and will the the threat of the governor scandal destroy the life she has worked so hard end her career?
This book was truely a heart warming book. It was emotional and brought tears to my eyes with the battles Paige had to endure. I related to her on many levels. I loved the angst and all the emotions joya ryan put on paper.
I highly recommend this book and I will read it many times as I do all her books...
Once again Joya Ryan killed it...this girl can write a book and I look forward to reading more from her in the future
