If I could give this zero stars I would. I bought this at Bed Bad and Beyond so it wasn't very expensive. Brought it home and followed all the directions. It didn't remove a SINGLE hair. What it did do is take off a layer of dead skin cells so yeah my skin is smoother but all the hair is still there. Would caution people agains buying this.

I tried this item today, before reading the reviews. What a HUGE mistake. I tried it on my upper lip, after following ALL the directions. It left tiny broken hairs, and after I stopped, my lip got very RED, and started to BURN. So then I put the milk soaked cotton ball on it as directed, and now my lip is swollen, and totally burns. I had to put neosporin on it and am fervently hoping that the swelling goes down before my hubby gets home from work. I have waxed, used Nair and never had this BAD a reaction! This product should be off the market! Don't waste your money, or time. If you want pain just poke yourself in the eye, at least that's free.

This product does remove hair, from ideal locations like flat taught skin, ie your calf, shin or forearm. This will not work anywhere else!

And it really doesn't work all that well on ideal locations. You do have to rub quite a bit, and your skin will get irritated.

don't waste your $$

Short Review: Do not buy. This is not the hair removal product you are looking for. *Makes Obi-Wan hand gesture*

Long Review: I had seen this on TV and threw the BS flag at it, but thought what the hell, I'll give it a go since it was a gift (my mom got one for each of us). Being a Greek girl I am no stranger to hair... dark, OMG LOOK AT ME!! hair... and having my arms tattoo'd I'm always shaving them. So it was with a bit of hesitant hope that I tried this product.

BZZT. Failsauce. Thing doesn't work well at all.

Oh, it works at first, yes. I read the directions thoroughly and went step-by-step with extreme care, following every step perfectly. As I began to rub, I got very, very excited - it was working! Not only that but my skin felt great. Yes, it leaves a white film on your skin but one wash and that goes away and leaves you with smooth, hairless, baby-booty skin. Sounds great, right?

Well it would be if the pad would last beyond the first use. The pads are essentially sandpaper downgraded into something skin-friendly. They have no lasting power whatsoever. So unless you plan on buying enough replacement pads to wallpaper your entire home, don't bother. Seriously. By the time I did both arms the pad was spent. Maybe I'm a freak and have stone skin like The Thing from The Fantastic Four but really, I doubt I'm the problem here.

Also, a word of warning to anyone wanting to try this on their face: Don't. I used the little one on my upper lip and it did nothing. I also tried using the bigger pad on my wannabe sideburns; it, too, did nothing, and then I guess I got a little ticked off and started to rub too hard because about 10 minutes later I had a severe case of red face disease. That was unshiny and burned for days.

Sigh. Back to the drawing board.

I purchased this item on a whim from the toll free number. It does not work. If you have very very fine hair it would work I suppose. I called the company and it took them FOREVER to refund me. They wanted me to pay $14.99 for shipping and handeling and when I went to the USPS to return it was only $4.00 to ship it. They INFLATE the shipping price!! I was able to make enough noise to get a full refund PLUS S+H but not the money I spent to ship it back to them.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would. I have tried every hair removal product on the market at one time or another. None of them have ever lived up to their claims, so you can imagine how skeptical I was of this one. Nevertheless, I did order it because I just needed to see for myself that it didn't work. Was I ever surprised!!

Of course, it doesn't just wipe the hair off as easily as in the commercials. But after the first usage my skin was so smooth and felt so good I decided to keep using it. I used it every night for a week and each night it took off a little more hair.

I have been using this for two weeks now and my legs are completely hairless and very very soft and smooth. I'm not really sure about the moisturizer's ability to retard growth but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Anyway, that's my two cent's worth and I stand by it. I really do like this product and am very glad I tried it.

When i bought this, i bought it cheap on ebay because i didn't expect it to work very well, but i figured it was worth a shot. Wrong. It does remove the hair, but it does so by practically rubbing away a whole layer of skin! It took so long--probably 20 minutes--just to do ONE of my calfs, and it left my skin feeling raw and sensitive to the touch, no matter how much lotion I put on. Today my legs have still been sore all day, and my friend who used it who's skin is more sensitive than mine ended up with irritated bumps all over her legs! Shaving, in my opinion, is easier, and works better than this cheap thing. Don't waste your money, even if you only payed 0.06 cents like i did.
