I was skeptical when I bought this item, but I figured I would give it a shot. I have 2 siberian huskies, and needless to say, they shed A LOT! The fur vac works much better than my normal pet hair attachments on my vacuum. I've used it on my rugs, my pillows, couch, curtains, you name it, and the fur has come off easily. I no longer have to go over everything with a lint brush after I vacuum. And this saves me from having to buy another pet vacuum. My only dislike is that my hands are not big enough to easily grip the attachment with my thumb like they suggest. Otherwise this is a fantastic buy.

I was also hesitant when purchasing. (got mine at Rite Aid) I use it on both my hand-held vac and my upright vacuum. This tool is THE ultimate for cat/dog hair pick up. Especially great on long hair that tends to be toughest to remove from bedding. I have 5 cats - 3 have long hair. I've tried MANY hair removal tools and this wins HANDS DOWN.

The attachment pieces that come with it that allow you to adapt to any vacuum required a little work to get them to stay on my hand-held Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vacuum but it works incredibly well. It attaches to my upright easily. Use as pictured in the ad and you'll get it working right.

It's 100% worth it and a super invention.

I have tried every furniture fur remover known to man and other than duct tape this works really well. I would highly recommend this item.

Excellent dog and cat hair remover - Best attachement ever! The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because even with the adapter connecting to my hoover windtunel vacuum is a bit awkward. However this is better than any of the attachments that came with the vacuum. I highly recommend for anyone that has animal hair - I have two large dogs and two long-haired cats and this gets ALL the hair from my couch, pillows, chair seats, and any other fabric I apply it to. Also gets the hair off the clothes I'm wearing better than the lint brush.

Having 3 cats and 2 dogs equals pet hair..lots of it! I've tried many products and thought my answer was my hand held Dirt Devil, along with covering as much furniture as possible with sheets. A friend gave this to me to try and once I gave it a shot, I couldn't get enough. I was literally shocked that this little attachment worked the magic that it did!! The silicon rubberish head grips the hair and then with the vacuum constantly sucking up the hair, my furniture looked brand new again! I highly recommend it. I only gave it 4 stars because the universal adapters are a little tight to attach to the hose of my vacuum, but I managed with it only popping off a few times. That's ok, I'll take that little inconvenience in place of the wonderful job the attachment does.

I have used this product for over a year. It's absolutely wonderful! I have a German shepherd/lab that has allergies and sheds horribly. I also have a micro fiber couch that the hair gets so intertangled into the couch that it's ridiculous! I also have all the pillows that need to be vacuumed with it so before this attachment it took me about an hour. Honestly it takes me about 15 minutes to do the couch now! I tell everyone about this because it saves so much madness and energy! The only thing is that it has to be replaced about everyyear as the little rubber knobs wear down, but for $15 it is completely worth it!

Tested on a well-used cat tree (6 short-haired cats). This gets into crevices I had long given up on. The nubs grab all the hairs and the hairs stick to the rubber and then get sucked down the slots. It even works on my microfiber couch, where I had to use those wasteful sticky sheets until now just to grab those few stray hairs the vac was unable to remove on its own. This attachment picked up every last hair and it fits my Kenmore upright perfectly.

It showed up on time and the price was right. The only problem is that the package said it will fit a Dyson vacuum and it didn't fit mine. I have a Dyson Animal and it would not fit any of the hose's or alternate plastic tubes that come with it. I tried all the included extra fittings but none would work.
Not a happy camper.

Like several others, I have found that the adapters do not fit the accessory hose on my vacuum, which is a Eureka Optima. All accessories provided are too loose to allow use of the device without taping it in place. Further, more heavily matted hair is not picked up.

The Ontel did not fit my new Kenmore upright
A lot of trial and error sanding of the attachment made it "useable" but not a ideal fit.
It does pick up cat hair as other reviews state.
If I could re-design it, I would make the head a little smaller so it is easier
to hold, and size the adapters so one would fit my Kenmore.
