I recommend anyone who has an interest in historical philosophy to read this book. Most other historical works of this sort will consume you in a boring agony before you can complete them, even if you have a keen interest in philosophy, but Dr. Harrelson gives color to his language. Buy this book if you are looking for a nice pleasure-read but also want to learn a lot about the history of philosophy.
