Try the latest from East Coast band The Onus, combining that funky backroom improvisation you love with classical jazz roots. Musically brilliant and pulsing with vibrant urban energy, these are the performers that elite jazz musicians know and perform with. No, you won't be humming these tunes in the shower, but you'll be tapping along all night long.
Especially good are "Nostalgia in Times Square", "Falling Leaves", and "Night and Day."
If you're tired of overcommercialized "light" jazz, give this CD a try for true authentic jazz at its best.
