About the Author

Jennifer Williams teaches elementary science at the Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana. She has won the Presidential Award for Teaching and is a frequent lecturer at science and education conferences around the country.

As a parent of two kids, Ms. Williams' book makes science concepts easy to understand through simple and clever experiments. Materials are simply obtained from the store with great explainations of how and why the science experiments work. You don't have to be parent scientist or a whiz kid to enjoy this book. It will provide hours of fun, curiosity, excitment, provide for a great understanding of science concepts, and most important, quality time spent with your kids. A must read....A must have to keep for yourself to share with your kids.

Brilliant author pairs science projects with favorite children's books! My second grade son used this for a school science project and now wants to do all the other experiments too, as well and find out about the books we haven't read yet. Highly recommend!

This book is so good that I've bought one for all of my friends who have kids in the primary grades. The books that are suggested by the author have been loved by me and my daughter. The science experiments are easy and fun to do.
