The best, most imformative book on opals by Paul Downing. It is a must have for all opal cutters as well as lovers of opal. The pictures are worth the price alone. Not one book out there has more info on the art of appraising opals. I highly recomend this book to anyone who loves gemstones, especially the most beautiful stone of them all, the opal!
