i was a bit worried about this release how they would do it etc.well here we have dark lotus . i think its a very solid album. the 5 members they have in DL now are the best for this group. blaze is insane on this. icp and twiztid have gone up another level. i do like every song. i also like it better then other DL albums.its sucks you in like you cant get out of a cell. the beats have impressed me. buy this even if you dont know who they are you might like it.

Now I've been down since I was 16 I am 24 now.I am tired of people reviewing these albums and say how horrible every Psy. record is trash.I am going to tell you this.I love everything it they put out.Even thou it might take me awhile to get into it.The new Lotus is like that. The beats are eh.I dont like them. The lyrics are dark.Which is tight. The music doesnt hit or catch me.It is more of a chill album.I like it but it is something different which different is good for change.Like The Tempest this took me to get use to.I love the Tempest now.I give it 4 stars just based off the lyrics are tight.

Warcry of The Darkest Depths,
This review is from: Opaque Brotherhood (Audio CD)
This may be the deepest, darkest album ever put out by any artist. This is not a mix of fun, goofy or sexual tracks running alongside a foundation of Psychopathic shade. This is pure, wicked black. This is not to say that the album doesn't carry a positive message in places. It definitely does. While this album is something consisting completely of murky wonders, it is still empowering. The lyrics are thoughtful and perfectly executed. This is probably the closest Dark Lotus will ever come to attaining what the original vision is supposed to have been. You will find nothing like this on any other cd the music world has to offer. There are definitely those who won't understand it or simply won't appreciate how beautifully dark it is. But if you don't see yourself as someone who will fall into either of those categories, then buy this today.

I have been with the hatchet for as along as i can rememeber. When i first heard ICP and Twiztid were putting togather this amazing piece of work. I immediately went and cop'd it. At 1st hearing this cd, I was not impressed. Sad to say but like anything great it takes time. I was caught by "Heinous" and "Opaque Brotherhood". After re'copin the album since being here in Iraq. I have listen to the entire thing. A masterpiece if nothing less then G.O.A.T ( for those of you that dont know greatest of all time). I am blown away at the lyrics and production of this cd. Truely a rebirth for the Lotus Klan. Everything had its place on this album. Blaze was right when he said MC stood for most crafty. I would be willing to put this out to mainstream and watch this soar to #1 but thats not how we do. Everyone pulled out the stops on this album and I am truely amazed at this. No one went soft and I wouldnt expect anything less then this. Dark Lotus has set the bar for all underground with this Reign of Godlyness prefection. I have yet to hear anything that hits harder then the RYDAS. Lotus is the Brotherhood! MMMCL

I love this album. Their best yet. It's deep, delirious, mystical, and an abomination all at once. Too many high points to count. Just listen to it. It's like opium.

The Opaque Brotherhood is a must have for all juggalos and juggalettes cause as with all Dark Lotus albums it has tight beats , tight raps , and everyone from Violent J to Blaze just straight up kills it.

Strong and more wicked then ever.,
This review is from: Opaque Brotherhood (Audio CD)
If anyone can remember, for awhile many fans of ICP, Twiztid, and others were feeling psychopathic was getting a bit weak when it came to albums and not wicked enough to match previous ones. This album proves however that they are just as good and wicked as ever. The beats are slow and are almost psychadellic at some points and every artist passe's mike around to get chance to spit. What makes this album much better then previous one and I'd say slightly better then Marz one(don't gimme wrong it was good but it sounds like they didn't have there style down) is that it mainly focuse's on 5 original artists. The album also has no humor what so ever nor doe's it include juvenile lyrics as they're completely straight on this album making them fierce. If you love Horrorcore Music and Acid Rap, pick this one up is all I have to say and enjoy.

On a very personal level.....this is my favorite album from Psychopathic which is a very hard statement to make given the vast variety of styles they offer. This album is so dark... not dark like hells pit murder stab dark. It's dark on a much more personal introspective level. It is trippy and mixes in a perfect blend of rock industrial sound (In Bloom), deep hard you must nod your head to the beat tracks (Can you keep a secret and during an eclipse(limited edition)), that mystical arabian influence on (black sand and rejected(this track is on the limited edition, kind of a excellent downer like "the whus"), very trippy spiral sound on "follow the leader". This album is the most creative of all the Lotus albums. One of my favorite tracks is "trapped inside" which is in my opinion the perfect track to describe the feeling of being suicidal. This album mixes it up with alot of different flavors. In my eyes, this is one of Pyschopathic's best efforts and seems to stray away from the more silly side of psychopathic into a deeper more concentrated sound. "Backwords" is almost like watching a movie unfold in reverse...excellent. "Withered is like a redemption song after being so lost in despair and aggression for a while. The only flopper in my opinion was "hot poison" which has a really cool trippy beat but just didn't seem to get anywhere. All in all this album is a A+. I would go for the limited edition or download those songs aswell, they fit perfectly into the album. This album got me through some rough times and is still one of my favorite to listen to all the time.

I joined the Opaque Brotherhood,

Dark Lotus does it once again. Even though Anybody Killa was signed back to Psychopathic Records, he is not featured on this album. It is Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, and Blaze Ya Dead Homie. A definate must have for any juggalo/juggalette.
