Backpackers need to travel lightly, and this two-person cook set adds convenience without weight. All items store inside the larger, two-quart billy pot with a domed lid that doubles as a seven-inch nonstick frying pan. Also included are a one-quart billy, one lid that fits both pots, two, 6-1/4-by-1-1/4-inch aluminum dishes, a metal clamp handle for the frying pan, and two, eight-ounce plastic cups. A nylon carry bag keeps everything snug and prevents sooty pots from rubbing off on sleeping bags.

All cookware is made of aluminum and should be washed in hot, soapy water before initial use. The bottoms of the pots are rounded to facilitate stirring and simplify clean-up. Measuring 5 by 7-1/2 inches when fitted together, this sturdy set should last for years. --Ann Bieri

I just received this set in the mail today. It seems fairly nice, though it is smaller than I had expected.

The problem is that the clamp handle doesn't work...it doesn't fit onto the frying pan. It is useless--serious design problem here. I'm debating whether to just forget about the frying pan, or to try to call their 800 number.
