More About the Author

Award winning author Karen Kendall has always been a creative spirit, fleeing into the fictional world at an early age, emerging only to obtain a Bachelors' degree in something even less practical: Art History. After completing graduate coursework for an MA and working for several small museums and a large commercial art gallery, she realized her dream of being an author, and has since published over twenty novels. She now resides both in South Florida and in her various story worlds. Her husband Don tolerates her imaginary friends -- as long as she socializes with real ones, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars ****Funy cowboy romance****, October 4, 2005
This is the third book of the trilogy "The man handlers"
All 3 stories are fun.
Kendall once again wrote a story full of sizzles and laughs.

Cowboy Dan contract Lil (manner's specialist) to have a makeover since his sister is getting married soon to an English aristocrat. Dan loves his sister and don't want to embarrass her with his rough manners. The chemistry between this two is incredible and the love scenes are very creative even though they are two opposites' poles.

Front back cover:
When cowboy Dan Granger hires etiquette diva Lilia London for a crash course in manners, she has no idea what she's getting into. His twang and his rough manners are foreign to the well-bred Lilia. Still, she's determined to polish him. Her task would be much easier if Dan wasn't so mouthwatering - the six-pack riding above his belt alone is enough to make her mix up her forks. And when he offers to teach her his own theory of sexual etiquette - Uncivilization 101 - how can she resist?

But is a sensual trip into hedonism enough to counteract a lifetime of proper behavior? As Lilia's professionalism reasserts itself, she realizes she has to let her sexy Texan go...unless she can convince herself to do an advanced degree in Uncivilization.

I had a good time reading this book; however my favorite on the trilogy is unzipped?

Have a fun read
Barbara

5.0 out of 5 stars Goes on the keeper shelf, November 23, 2005
Opposites attract big time in this fun, emotional story by Karen Kendall. Cowboy Dan Granger hires etiquette consultant Lilia London so he can attend his sister's wedding into an aristocratic English family. But while Lilia is teaching him about the proper fork, he's wondering about proper seduction techniques for Miss Prim. Lilia never knew sex could be so uncivilized, and she's finding she craves Dan's brand.

I loved the instant clash of opposites. From breaking antique china to an antique chair, and then using his shirt to clean up the mess, Dan comes across as a rugged, yummy Texan. And although Lilia grew up as a good girl, she realizes that it's okay to let her hair down. These well-drawn characters seemed quite real with real motivations. I loved the plot twists, and especially loved the English riding scenes.

This is a quick read, and I loved the ending. This book rocks, and its going on my keeper shelf!

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Trashy, September 9, 2009
Though I thought the book was certainly funny at times, I just did not find the characters really likeable. I also like a relationship based on love and caring not a bunch of casual sex. She is established as a goody goody and him as a casual cowboy. There is quite a bit of oral sex (from him and her), which doesn't bother me it was just the casualness of it, there was no talk of any type of lasting relationship pretty much assumed by both as a fling(until the very end).
