Are you a Mario fan? Are you a golf fan? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, then you should definitely consider picking up NES Open Tournament Golf. Player one plays as Mario, and his caddy is Princess Peach. Player two will play as Luigi, and his caddy is Princess Daisy. You have a choice of three different courses, the US Course, the Japan Course, and the UK Course. You have three different game modes in which to play. Play Stroke Play to raise your ranking. Challenge computer players in Match Play, and participate in a tournament to win prize money. In Clubhouse, players can choose their clubs and look at their stats. Golf fans will appreciate the depth of this game, and will definitely have a hard time putting it down!

This is by far my favorite golf game for the NES. The biggest reason it is so fun is it stars Mario and his Nintendo friends and nemesis. Plus, the gameplay and graphics are excellent for a NES game. This is a game that both Mario and golf fans will enjoy!
