Grade 2-5-A discussion of the science of the eye, its parts, and how it works, and easy, child-friendly experiments on sensory perception and optical illusions result in an interesting title and an amusing look at one of our five senses. The collage illustrations are done with photographs, newspapers, and drawings. Many have humorous captions; some have conversation bubbles and resemble cartoons. However, the different layouts on each spread at times overwhelm the text. Useful for browsing or background building.
