3.0 out of 5 stars older stuff is way better, March 25, 2008
This review is from: Open Your Mouth for the Speechless... (Audio CD)
althought its the same band, this is completely different from the messhuggah rip offs they've become in the last few years. This ALOL's more swedish metal sounding stuff. It's not as good as Fourth Plague Flies but I'll take it over what they are doing now, anyday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrible singing my rear patoot!, January 14, 2008
This review is from: Open Your Mouth for the Speechless... (Audio CD)
A Life Once Lost is and always will be and always has been the best metal can offer. The suspense of the music derives from the sounds of his voice. I am 20 years old and have been listening to this band since the first audio was ever recorded 8 years ago. ALOL is THE best metal America can gag on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Vocals, November 27, 2005
This review is from: Open Your Mouth for the Speechless... (Audio CD)
Before you read this review, let me tell you I am a huge fan of the NEW ALOL(Hunter). I had this album before Hunter was released and absolutely hate this album. The vocals are terrible compared to the vocals on hunter. If you have ever played Doom3, and you listen to this album, you may notice that the singer sounds exactly like the Revenants. In my opinion, thats really annoying, and listening to this album gives me a headache. Even if you try to follow along by reading the lyrics, trust me, you will get lost.
The only reason i give this album any stars is because i love the guitar riff in the first song "Joan said Please", and because i like the bands name...

So, take my advice, Pass up this album and just buy Hunter.
