5.0 out of 5 stars Up-to-the-Minute Information, June 4, 2007
By Toby Heathcotte (Glendale, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I have read other books on remote viewing but found Opening to the Infinite the most complete and informative. I especially enjoyed the segment on dreaming. I highly recommend this book and its wise author.

5.0 out of 5 stars ADVENTURES IN REAL LIFE, September 27, 2007
By Mike Dill (Los Angeles) - See all my reviews
Simply a fabulous book! A spine-tingler showing the awesome tools available to those who would dedicate themselves, as well as the stunning research experiences of those who have succeeded in remote viewing. This book can also be for people willing to consider they have a human birthright they might not understand, but can still use and respect.

The techniques Schwartz suggests for remote viewing are elegantly simple. The research he discusses is fascinating. Schwartz is as conscientious a researcher as you'll find anywhere, anytime. His first books were excellent reads which chronicled important things few people had the courage to even discuss. This fourth book has those same shining qualities, founded by the longer life experience of a man who has done what he teaches.

Thinking about what other Amazon reviewers have written, I didn't find many references to the personal experiences they MUST have had, which propelled them to a state of mind where they wanted Schwartz's adventurous road maps. It's worth considering that thoughtful people don't read books about controversial subjects unless there's REALLY something in it for them.

Since the perceptions of the "reporter" must always be considered: in college I began looking at life from the perspective of science. I love the way the world is put together and that was my window. I showed myself I was given to the practicalities of repeatable adventures. But the more I delved into science I began to accept and use the other half of what moves the world -- people's motivations and perceptions. So I gravitated toward religion and blended the seen with the unseen.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best 'guy book' on spiritual awareness !, July 12, 2007
I loved reading Stephan Schwartz' new book, 'Opening to the Infinite, and I passed my copy along to a friend who was returning to his agave ranch in Oaxaca, Mexico. A few weeks later we had a Skype conversation in which he expressed profound gratitude for the gift of the book. He is a lifelong 'grounded-in-3D' skeptic and it helped him to open up to the greater part of ourselves that is grounded in the vastness of consciousness.

Opening to the Infinite is filled with great stories of Stephan's 45 years of experience in the field of consciousness and tons of research from his remote viewing experiements. It's fun to read, extremely knowledgable, and a true 'guy book' about the next frontier. Of course, women will like it too. If you liked Indiana Jones you certainly will.
