Keep your $19, and use something else!,
This review is from: Openoffice.org Package: All the Office Programs You Need (Windows XP) from Shift+Open (CD-ROM)
Anyone who pays for this program has paid too much. Open Office is totally free software, available for download at it's official site, openoffice.org. There, you can download it as many times as you want, get support from their forums, and not pay a dime.
I use Lotus Symphony, which is also free, and which I have had better luck with. It's based on Open Office, but I have not had the problems with it that I had with Open Office.

It's so cool how open source software can take on the biggest companies in the industry head-to-head.
OpenOffice vs. Microsoft Office is a tossup for me... but check out the difference on the price tag! :-)

OpenOffice FTW,
This review is from: Openoffice.org Package: All the Office Programs You Need (Windows XP) from Shift+Open (CD-ROM)
This polished office suite is exactly what a college student like me is looking for - inexpensive, professional, fully compatible with proprietary counterparts, extra functions not available in other office suites. Not to mention, the instruction manual that came with the CD was extremely helpful and comprehensive.
