Fatboy Slim meets Henry Rollins,

Techno brits fuse techno with spoken word and arrive at an album that really works. "Battleflag," is the catchiest, musically, but I also enjoyed the rest of the album. Lost of "prose" meshed with techno. Great if you are a fan of Fatboy Slim, Chemical Bros., or Underworld.

Some albums take some time to grow on you (ie. VAST), some just suck (99.9% of what's out there now), and some you love the first time you listen to it, like this one. It's very strange, and goes in many differnt directions. If that's your style, then get this album.

lo-fi allstars produced an album which is a mixture of drum n' base, jungle, dub and many other influences. their unique style is maybe the new frontier of popular electro music at the end of the millenium. when i heard this album for the first time, i was impressed with the creativity and the mixture of styles it contains. another essential product of 'skint' label (along with fatboy slim and Bentley Rhythm Ace)
