5.0 out of 5 stars HIPV rocks!, November 18, 2002
By
"hiddeninthestars" (Hackettstown, NJ United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Operation: Cut-Throat (Audio CD)
Hidden In Plain View is one of the best bands in the local Jersey scene, hands down! They are a hard-working, down-to-earth bunch of guys, and they are incredibly nice. They can rock a show out like no other, and this CD is amazing from the first to last song. "An American Classic" is just incredible...but each of their songs has the ability to just have this effect on you: put you in a mood, or a memory... it's that emotionally driven. I've heard people talk about HIPV having influences of some bands like Saves the Day, Jimmy Eat World, and The Get Up Kids. However, within those influences, they've been able to carve their own little niche and truly sound unique. This CD is a MUST buy for any punk/"emo"/indie rock fan.
