Operation Delta Force Review,
By A Customer
This review is from: Operation Delta Force [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In this Video you get the oportunity to see how one of U.S. Army top elite units performs in a varied kind of situations. The movie starts with a drill that will thrill you as the boys go down the goverment building on Johannesburg, South Africa; combining Rapelling and other techniques. Then, a Group of Terrorist Africaans steal some bio-chemical weapons and REAL ACTION starts to pour out, not like in other movies. Silencers, Machine Guns, Grenades and lost of butts being kiked...you gotta love it, and also, you gotta love it's sequel...Operation Delta Force 2: Mayday.

Extraordinarily stupid,

Operation Delta Force was the worst I've ever seen.Characters undeveloped to the point where you didn't care what they did.Standard formula idea of mindless violence to fill up space with no plot twists to keep one interested for long with a script a chimp could write.

Great action made-for-video movie, except one dumb move.,

The movie was great! The action was spectacular! One thing that was weak about the film was the use of "Desert Storm" scenes for the film. It fits the storyline, but they didn't have to use it. Let's see if the sequel's any better.

Operation Dumb Film,
By Randall Banks "Music and Movie buff." (Lansing, MI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Operation Delta Force [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The most amazing part of this movie is the fact that the Commies that they are up against couldn't find the trigger to their high powered rifles, and M-16 style guns if their fingers were super glued to them. The just stood and got shot. When, finally they do find the triggers they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing inside it. They couldn't burn down a stack of hay with gasoline and a match if they were standing on the stack.Typical shoot em up and ask questions later American propoganda, where the enemy is inept as posisble and the hero's don't get shot. IT seems, for some reason, that they never run out of ammo. They just keep firing away. No new clips, no reloading. They also hit every enemy soldier that they face. NO matter how far away. They just look around a corner, thourgh windows, and even through jeeps, traincars, and bulldozers, and hit their target. A blind leper could hit, and kill, every target in this movie armed only with a rubberband and spitwads. The fights are staged, where all the punches, hits, and kicks are telegraphed and choreographed. The enemy must have been taught to fight by Richard Simons. It's like Bruce Lee going up against say, me. Sad movie, sad plot, and stilted dialogue. Preposterous fight and shooting scenes. Not ONE American received more then a graze. Total waste of film if you ask me. |
