It is what one would expect from a walk-thru guide. It's over 200+ pages with chapters on game play, a break down of each mission check point to check point, a list and break down of every firearm, vehicle, aircraft, (friendly and enemy) that one encounters in the game. The guide walks the player through each mission one step at a time. It shows several options to accomplish the mission from the easiest way up to the most challenging way to get all of the trophies. It also has a chapter on on-line multi-player. It gives all of the information that the gamer wants/needs to know about the game and game play both by reading the book from cover to cover and by only looking up the information needed to get out of a tight spot in a mission. No codes though, but I did not expect any. I would not pay $20 for it, but $10 or less is plenty. Happy gaming.

This game comes with much expectation & impatience to one hell of a lot of gamers. I am pleased to say it is as painfully close to the realism of combat, that you will get in a game simulation software. This is definitely not a run & gun arcade shoot um up, that you would see at the local gallery. You'll be dead with one shot, if you run out of your allocation of ammo, or in need of alternate weapons you have to scavenge off your your fallen comrades or your slain victims weponry, so as to carry on your fight. Reality is paramount in this game, fatigue, weponry, a huge area of battlefield activity. If you get wounded you fix it or you die. In this game you can rearm & shoot anything, operate any war machine. If it's broke & if you can, you fix it. There is an impressive array of armory & weaponry "all authentic & user actual". On the technical side, the graphics are impressive but a bit grainy, some command actions {target with scope, fast crawl & run, enter & operate armour} are a bit slow even for realism perspectives. Some of the teem & tactical strike commands are a bit busy & could be simplified "especially the common ones", the use of mouse operation instead of keyboard would be more user friendly. Over all, not quite the coming Messiah of games that all the hype lead us to believe. But still one excellent combat simulation for those after a bit of reality in there simulated battlefield experience. Definitely worth the buy, & I sincerely hope we don't have to wait another 8 years for the sequil. I am sure this will be yet another classic, in action computer games.

This game has to much for the player to do and takes all yhe fun out of the game .
recommend not buy unless you buy the manual too, even then the explanations are vague.
