La trama de la pelicula es interesante, un legendario arqueologo tiene la llave conocida como el Golden Phoenix que encierra el secreto del lugar de un tesoro, el papel de Jalal Merhi como el ex agente de la CIA Mark Assante es bueno, asi como el papel de Loren Avedon como el ex compaero de Assante y que ayuda a un lord del crimen a encontrar el tesoro.

Sin embargo; a momentos el desarrollo de la pelicula se torna aburrido aunque el final con la pelea de ambos compaeros salva la pelicula
