Picking up Operation Hebron is an experience in excitement, intrigue, sex, violence, exotic places, spider-webbed interpersonal relations and international glitz. Be it with his ultra-insider knowledge of Washington or his super-sensitive eye on all that is adventurous and dangerous in the rest of the world, Jordan grabs our attention from the very beginning and does not let it go until we've recommended his page-turner to everyone we know-and THEN some! As an author who just had a book published myself ("Our Lady"), I read Operation Hebron with a more than critical eye, and came out the other end thanking Jordan for thrusting me into a rarified world frequented by a mere handful of privileged initiés, where the women are beautiful and brilliant, the men ominous and imposing, the scenery breathtaking, the intrigue heart-stopping, and the general atmosphere one which leaves you wanting more and more and more from Jordan in the years to come! Thanks, Eric! A great read! Highly recommended!

Fast-moving thriller full of suspense - I could not put it down until dawn. In writing a post Cold War spy novel in the best tradition of an earlier Tom Clancy, Jordan has captured the methods and treacheries of International Intelligence Organizations and their agents. His discriptions of settings, cities, ports, airplanes and the offices of high politics are accurate to the last detail. He has been there and captured it for the reader. A MUST read.

Eric Jordan--whoever he is--is a master of the Intelligence systems that are in the frontline trenches of international confrontation and competition. He combines experience, skillful writing, brilliant plot creation and wit and sex in a compelling formula for literate readers. What a TV series and/or movie this would make! There are spymasters galore who think they can translate their experiences into exciting books--Eric Jordan should rise to the top with this superb effort.

A first-class debut spy novel that grips your attention from the first page to the last. The facts seem to be very well researched; no wonder given Eric Jordan's professional background. A good plot and good fun to read.

Caught the author being interviewed on BOSTON COMMON, and had to read the book. What a thriller! Jordan has a well developed plot and fascinating characters. This is the perfect book for a sunny day at the beach.

Good Book to read to pass time if you are in an airport or airplane.

While the stile and interest to the reader are great, the book premise itself is completely unbelievable. The Israeli leaders, described in the book, act like complete idiots. All through history, the Jews have been accused of many things, but nobody ever accused them of being stupid. It seems that the author has been influenced by the "Protocols of Zion Elders", one of the best sellers of post-Soviet Russia. The mysterious senator culprit is easily recognizable. One does not have to wait for the final denouement. As a mystery, the book is quite average. The identity of the Russian spy in Israel is an impossibility. The author just does not know enough about Israel. All through the book there are quite a few language errors in Russian, French and Arabic. I e-mailed the details to the author. I certainly enjoyed reading the sex parts in the book. This is where the author excells.

This book was heading for a simple denoument copying "Let's hear it for the Deaf Man" and then it just crashed and burned. If Jackie had found the Israeli safe house in a week, how come the FBI who were "monitoring" Mr Tiron never found it? Jeez, surely they should have been following Mr Tiron 24/7?? In a stupid stupid stupid rushed ending Agent Straus and her "honor" end up condoning assasination. This will really not do. I was on the side of Jackie all the way. But let's face it, for the sake of a completely bogus "happy ending", she was always gonna have to die.
