This review is from: Operation Mummy (G K Hall Large Print Silhouette Series) (Hardcover)
The story starts with a page of Brady's diary. He was excited at finding the perfect "mum" and was planning to get his dad marry her. I'm certain you'll get as fascinated as I was, looking at the list of "reasons" why she was so perfect. It was funny and sometimes hilarious, as Brady and his two younger brothers' mostly unsuccessful match-making attempts unfolded. These little boys were so sweet I bet you would love them, especially Micky, who was the youngest.I find this one of the best books by Ms Cross. A pity she did not make a sequel. (I presume she meant to, judging from the ending of the book.) Anyway, it's a good story, definitely worth reading. |
