5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent game.
This is a great game, and should go down as a classic in wargaming history. My only gripes are minor, such as connected campaigns where your actions affect the next battle rather than differant seperate scenarios, but you can't have every thing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Abyssmal - Dont even bother
This game is overrated by the few who play it. If you want a more fun game check out the panzer campaigns or the modern
campaigns by hps simluations.

The Operational Art of War has a terrible interface, terrible game play, even worse support.

If you have XP dont waste your time or money. Incompatible.

This game allows you to try it! You don't have to worry about designing tanks or guns, you don't have to train the men or aim the guns, all you have to do is PLAN, PLAN, PLAN. You move the men by rails or by aircraft, you direct the engineers to repair or destroy, you can order units to dig in or attack, support or defend. Operation Barbarossa, the Normandy Invasion, jungle warfare in Burma, the Korean War and so much more!
A very complete guide with page after page of historically accurate data and tips.
